ZiSchool ("we," "us") is built by ZiTechnologies to help schools manage students, staff, attendance, marks, fees, and communication. This policy explains what information we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

When you use ZiSchool, we (and the school administrator you're associated with) collect: account details (name, email, role), and school-related records such as student enrollment, attendance, marks, fees, and messages entered into the app by school staff.

How it's used

Data is used solely to operate the app for the school you belong to — showing your own records, your child's records (for parents), or the records of students in classes you teach. Data is not sold or shared with advertisers.

Who can see what

Access is restricted by role: headteachers and admins can see school-wide records; teachers can see students and marks for their own assigned classes and subjects; parents and students can only see their own or their child's individual records. This is enforced at the database level, not just in the app's interface.

Data storage

Data is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure. Uploaded files (such as a school logo) are stored securely and are only editable by that school's admin.

Your rights

You can request correction of inaccurate information about you through your school's administrator. Account deletion requests can be sent to the contact address below.
