Nursery, Lower Primary (P1–P3, Thematic Curriculum), Upper Primary (P4–P7, including a PLE mock aggregate for P7), and Secondary (S1–S6, New Lower Secondary Curriculum). Each level uses its own assessment model — checklists, competency descriptors, or percentage grades — matched to how that level is actually taught.

ZiSchool has four plans — Free, Standard, Pro, and Enterprise — based on how many students and staff your school has. The Free plan supports up to 50 students at no cost, with no credit card required to get started. See the Plans section on the home page for details.

Headteachers see everything in their school. Teachers only see the classes and subjects they're assigned to. Parents and students only ever see their own (or their child's) individual records — never other students' data. This is enforced by the database itself, not just hidden in the app's interface.

No — ZiSchool runs in your browser and works on any phone, tablet, or computer. You can also "install" it to your home screen like a regular app for quicker access, but it's not required.

Yes — ZiSchool is built mobile-first. Marking attendance, entering marks, and posting assignments all work fully on a phone, not just a laptop.

A headteacher signs up, creates the school, and picks a plan. From there, they generate invite codes for teachers, parents, and students to join with the correct role and (for parents/students) linked to the right child.

Data is stored on Google's Firebase infrastructure with access rules enforced per role and per school — one school can never see another school's data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You'll be prompted to upgrade once you hit your plan's student or staff limit — nothing breaks suddenly, you just won't be able to add more until you upgrade.
